ORCAM is a user-friendly ORganizer cum CAlendar Manager tool @YourDomain to remind you of all your appointments, meetings, dinners, birthdays, anniversaries, television series, sports schedules and a vast range of events in your daily life. All you have to do is to just record them once in the ORCAM and it will be there to remind you of all your engagements as per the schedule. So once you start using ORCAM you can say bye-bye to all those regretting moments of 'Belated wishes' or 'Oops forgot about the meeting' ..... because ORCAM will be there to remind you, your schedules.

          ORCAM has been carefully designed to provide a great ease-of-use, accommodate all the events that may occur in a person's day-to-day life to be organized easily and managed in the calendar and provide the reminder services to remind the schedules in time. It also has an additional special feature of adding the Religious Calendar (computed based on the astronomical calculations to perfection) and holiday listings to be directly added to your personal ORCAM.

Salient Features:

Views Of ORCAM ORCAM provides four different views of your Calendar to enable viewing your schedules according to your need - Day, Week, Month & Year Views.
	Day View  provides an interval-based view of all the events scheduled for a day.  It displays each schedule spanned over the time interval in which it is scheduled for.  It also displays all-day events like festivals,holidays and other events designated as all-day events by the user seperately above.  Week View & Month View provide a day-wise listing of all the events falling in that period. All the events are listed sorted according to the time in which they occur. These views are particularly useful when you want to have a quick glimpse of the events falling in that period. A variety of pleasant colors have been used to distinguish the various events. You can navigate to previous/next day/week/month to browse the events.
Year View presents the calendar details for the whole year. All those days that have events scheduled for the period are designated with a different color. For the ease-of information moving the mouse over the day cell gives a quick listing of all the events scheduled for that day. You can easily go to any of the day or week or month view in that calendar year by a single click. You can also navigate to previous/next years.

Scheduling Vast Range Of Events

The events that occur in the day-to-day life have been categorized in to scheduled, timebound, group meeting and todo events for easy understanding and organizing.
Scheduled Events comprise one-time events that span a particular schedule like attending a seminar, attending a get-together. Timebound Events envelope all the repeating events like weekly report preparation, birthdays, annual day, training classes repeating every day for a session, your favourite sport/game schedule and a wide variety of events. Todo Events are the tasks on hand like buying an accessory, calling a plumber - the listing is displayed on day/week/month view irrespective of the dates. A special feature of ORCAM is the Group Meeting Event. This allows you to organize a group meeting. You can create a group meeting event wherein you can specify all the details about the group meeting and the schedule. You can also send invitation mails to all the invitees of the meeting. The ORCAM sends an invitation email to all the invitees and allows them to reply to the invitation either by accepting or rejecting to attend the group meeting. This allows you and the other invitees to keep track of all the invitees who are to attend the meeting.
Also if the invitee is a user in the same domain then the invitation is also sent to the invitee's ORCAM wherein the invitee can reply through the ORCAM.

Reminders Services
Reminder Services is one of the main features of ORCAM. This is where you can set the ORCAM to remind you of your schedules. ORCAM provides a Multiple Reminders Service. Whenever you record any event in the ORCAM you can set the ORCAM to send a reminder to an email-id of your choice before the event schedule. You can set the reminder-time to the minutes/hours/days before the event's occurance schedule, you would like yourself to be reminded of the event. The feature of Multiple Reminders also allows you to set multiple reminders to be sent to the email-id like send a reminder 4 days before the conference, repeat reminder every 6 hours - so that you are constantly reminded of the event until its schedule.

Religious Calendar & Holiday Listings
You can optionally include various religious calendars and holiday listings of your choice. Currently we are providng Chinese, Christian, Hindu, Islamic and Jewish religious calendars. We are planning to add more. You can select the calendars you would like to add in your ORCAM. All the festivals have been computed based on astronomical calculations to perfection. Refer Terms and Conditions . This special feature allows you to set up all the festivals and holidays in the ORCAM according to their dates. These events are differentiated in the calendar from regular events by use of different colors.

Customizing ORCAM
ORCAM allows you to customize some features of your ORCAM according to your choice. You can set various properties of your ORCAM like the View you would like ORCAM to display by default, the time zone of your locale, the start day of the week say Sunday/Monday, the work-hours of your day (displayed in the day view), the interval span of your daily schedules like 15minutes/30minutes/1hour say doctors may have a schedules mostly on 15 minutes basis whereas lawyers may have schedules which spans to hours (day view interval). Default status of the events you create. You can also set the religious calendars you would like to be added to your ORCAM.
